How to get here
Belarus’
The city of Polotsk is the core point where you should get to.
- When you need to reach the western part of the region (Klyastitsy village, the “Krasny Bor” sanctuary, Yuhovichy village) take the road № P 46 “Lepel’ – Polotsk – the Russian border”.
- When you need to reach the central part of the region (Rossony town, Yankovichy village, Albrehtovo village) take the road № P 24 “Polotsk - Rossony”.
- When you need to reach the eastern part of the region (Zabor’e village, Ukleyenka village, Krasnopol’e village, Lokty village, the “Sinsha” sanctuary) take the road № P 24 “Polotsk - Rossony” as well. But at Albrehtovo village take the right turn following the road signs. If you use GPS navigator it will draw your rout from Polotsk to Krasnopol’e or Zabor’e villages through Dretun’ village – the shortest way, but the road condition will be of worse state.
From Saint-Petersburg
Follow the “Kiev destination” up to Opochka. Then take the road A 117 “Opochka – Yuhovichy (Belarus’)”.
From Moscow
The best rout is Smolensk – Vitebsk – Polotsk.
Then follow the instructions from the section “Belarus’” (see above).
